Guillaume Conteville

Guillaume is currently the head of Marketing for Western Continental Europe at MasterCard, where he oversees, among other things, the roll out of Priceless Cities and Priceless Surprises programmes, various sponsorships such as Champion's League, Roland Garros and Rugby World Cup as well as the launch of new products such as MasterPass, Mastercard's online wallet.

His background is very much media and digital. Prior to this role he was Head of Media for Europe at MasterCard. He has acquired a broad experience in media agencies. Starting in France at Initiative Media buying TV for Unilever. He then moved on to work for Starcom in London, managing the international UBS account before moving to MEC for a 7 year stint working on the Visa account in London. Singapore was his next stop where he managed international clients and returned to London to run the Colgate Palmolive account in Europe.

Guillaume is a Parisian by birth but a Londoner by choice. He is married and has two adorable daughters, who unlike their dad have a pristine English accent and support England in football.

In the past two years at LOLA Barcelona he has grew the revenue an 80% with 6 new accounts won with great success stories such as the Global Lunch of the SEAT Ateca, or PipasG, being the most successful campaign in the history of Grefusa revolutionizing the way to communicate to the young target.

Richard Bambrick
Senior Consumer Insight Manager at Britvic - United Kingdom

 

Richard currently oversees all consumer research and insight on Britvic’s Adult soft drink categories Globally, covering a range brands such as J2O, Purdey’s and London Essence Company.

Richard’s specialism is creative and media effectiveness, an area he has continually built knowledge of since his first role at Global brand and comms agency Millward Brown where he worked on brands such as Foster’s, Strongbow, Vodafone and Kellogg’s. He then moved client side to Britvic Soft Drinks and developed his understanding of how brands grow and the wider marketing mix. Richard was jointly responsible for developing and launching Britvic’s bespoke approach to measuring Mental Availability in a Globally consistent way. Richard has spoken at AdWeek Europe on the topic of marketing effectiveness and is halfway through Britvic’s inaugural Future Leader Programme.

Richard is married and has a 3-year-old son with ‘another on the way’ in October 2018. He’s a keen (but very average) golfer and enjoys watching football (supports Aston Villa for his sins) and rugby.

Ulla-Karin Barrett works for the Swedish agency Fanclub, and has, as the Senior Brand Strategist, been one of the minds behind some of the agency’s most awarded work.

Petra is a Group Account Director at IPG Mediabrands with 12+ years solid experience working on a number of global B2B and B2C clients.

After graduating from a business school in Switzerland, Petra moved to London and joined MEC where she worked for 7 years, first as an international planner/buyer (cross channels) then as a client lead, for a range of clients including CHANEL, BBC World News, Fortis Bank, Visa & Star Alliance. Petra worked from the London office for 5 years and then relocated to Singapore where she worked on Mercedes Benz and Singapore Airlines, planning and buying their pan regional APAC campaigns and running their content programs. Ben Curtis

Ben Curtis is Global Brand Director for Magnum Ice Cream at Unilever. Ben first joined Unilever as a Graduate Trainee back in 2001 and worked on brands from Pot Noodle and Peperami to Knorr and Chicken Tonight.

Following stints at L’Oreal Paris and PepsiCo Ben returned to Unilever in 2010 to lead the global relaunch of Cornetto ice cream. Since then Ben has also led Unilever’s ice cream category across South East Asia and Australasia, based in Singapore and more recently led the global Brooke Bond Tea business based in London. Amaro Gonzalez

With a career of over 20 years in the advertising industry, Amaro González founded El Ruso de Rocky in 2014, together with his three partners. Marjut Kytösalmi is Head of Digital Transformation for Valve, a full-service marketing agency that combines marketing, technology and communications. Jo Lee is the Strategic Planning Director at BBDO Spain, where she’s led national and international clients for the last 12 years. Her recent work includes global campaigns for brands like Colgate Palmolive’s Sanex and PepsiCo’s Lay’s brands.

Jo has experience working across diverse sectors from airlines to banking, to chewing gum, and has been lucky enough to work on some of the world’s most famous brands including Coca-Cola, Opel, and Wrigley’s.

After a successful career in P&G brand management, she followed her passion for advertising and brand building by joining P&G’s respected Brand Building & Integrated Communications department. BBIC is a team of communication experts within P&G who consult with agencies and P&G Brand Leaders on topics related to brand equity and advertising strategy and execution.

Hélène has proven experience in integrated advertising, with expertise in all media types (including digital, social, TV, print and in-store). She has a track record for championing ideas and creativity that builds brands and sales. Hélène also develops and delivers BBIC’s core advertising trainings. Through that, she plays an essential role in building the marketing skills of the P&G brand organisation.

Hélène believes in brands as forces that shape the world. And in advertising that “amplifies the inaudible whispers of the human soul.”

She currently lives near Geneva, Switzerland. If you don’t find her there with her children, you’ll find her somewhere up in the Alps.

Today it is hard to believe that my step to marketing was an accident 15 years ago. There was a long way after that. A start and an 8 years journey at local company, sector leader, “Femina Bona” - cosmetics wholesales, trainings and a chain of beauty and spa centers. Innovators, standard changers, new era’s creators in a country. Perfect place for a woman to work with products you love and a chance to train yourself in a challenging surrounding. Passion for what I do helped to develop fast. After couple years I was leading marketing and communication team and together with ambitious people we can say - beauty sector was never the same after us :)

I moved to FMCG sector to fulfill my childhood dream to be a part of “Kraft foods” team. I took a lead of local chocolate brands portfolio at a most challenging time. A push from international brands, a fight for a focus inside (after “Milka” launch) and outside organization was not an easy war to win. In the end of the day I managed to stabilize business results and to keep very high brand health parameters.

And finally, when I thought there is no more intense you can have, telco came in to my life. I spend last 3 years in” Telia”- a biggest telecommunication company in a market. I am responsible for brands strategy (postpaid and prepaid) and communication. Team manages more than 25 ATL, and even more BTL campaigns per year. We work not for awards, but it is a pleasant side of our work. We are permanent winners of local efficiency and creativity awards each year. And this is not a low hanging fruits in such a tough market.

Nicolas Orsoni

Jamie Peate

Jamie got his first taste of retailing helping out in his parent's shop near Blackpool. After university he joined Lever Brothers Sales and Marketing department and then went on to work on the Kwiksave and British Gas accounts at McCann.

He formed Blue Banana, his own insight and innovation agency, in 1991 and worked with brands like Persil, Dove, Cif, Flora, Clearblue, Marks and Spencer and Kelloggs both nationally and internationally.

Sam is Regional Managing Partner at UM in London where he runs a number of major international clients in the shape of Zurich, Fitbit, and Wimbledon.
