Guillaume Conteville

Guillaume is currently the head of Marketing for Western Continental Europe at MasterCard, where he oversees, among other things, the roll out of Priceless Cities and Priceless Surprises programmes, various sponsorships such as Champion's League, Roland Garros and Rugby World Cup as well as the launch of new products such as MasterPass, Mastercard's online wallet.

His background is very much media and digital. Prior to this role he was Head of Media for Europe at MasterCard. He has acquired a broad experience in media agencies. Starting in France at Initiative Media buying TV for Unilever. He then moved on to work for Starcom in London, managing the international UBS account before moving to MEC for a 7 year stint working on the Visa account in London. Singapore was his next stop where he managed international clients and returned to London to run the Colgate Palmolive account in Europe.

Guillaume is a Parisian by birth but a Londoner by choice. He is married and has two adorable daughters, who unlike their dad have a pristine English accent and support England in football.

Founding his own design company at the age of 16.
Studied communication and design in London, but left university to start his carrier in advertising at Saatchi & Saatchi.

Some of his most memorable moments in advertising was working together with four-times Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel and beeing involved in shooting three music videos featured on MTV. He likes to think in different, non-classic medias, doing so he developed interactive installations such as “The Piss Screen”.

Sophocles Alexopoulos

Sophocles has studied International Business at the University of Westminster in London. Upon finishing his studies, he moved to Greece where he started off his career in advertising in Account Management in 1998.

He has been employed in some of Greece’s most creative advertising agencies such as Adel/Saatchi&Saatchi, Cream and Tribe and has worked for many global clients and brands including ABSOLUT, GRANTS, DEWAR’S, OLD HOLBORN, FRIESLAND CAMPINA, VW, AUDI, VOLVO, WWF, P&G as well as major Greek brands such as EUROBANK and AMITA (COCA COLA HELLENIC).

Today, after more than fifteen years in the advertising sector and having led himself into Account Planning, he holds the position of the Executive Strategic Planning Director in Tribe, Athens.

In his personal life he appreciates good food, the company of close friends and traveling around the world experiencing new cultures and meeting people. He speaks Greek, English, and German.

Her career started as Media Planner at Leo Burnett, moving to a strategic role for Global brands.

Founder of Starcom & Mediavest offices in Lisbon, she has been playing a role of leading communication and media strategies for global clients, across a large categories portfolio for brands as Levi’s, Kraft, Samsung, Fiat Group (FCA) Heineken and others.

As Director of Human Experience Strategy, in the past years, and based in Lisbon, Patricia has also developed global roles, as part of Global product Committee, Developer and trainer of Strategic Tools and Frameworks for Starcom Network and Regional Coordinator (South Europe) for Global Brands.

Patricia has a degree in PR & Advertising and later took a post-degree in Sociology.

Giuseppe Maria Ardizzone is the Managing Director and Strategic Planner in Roncaglia Relationship Marketing, one of the most successful growing companies of the Gruppo Roncaglia, active on the CRM and Loyalty programs in Italy. Giuseppe begun his professional career in advertising in McCann Erickson growing in media strategic development, data analysis, unconventional solutions. Belén Azorín

Belén holds a degree in Business Administration and European Business from the University of Valencia. She has over 15 years' professional experience in Marketing and Management in the consumer goods sector.

Between 2001 and 2008 Belén developed her career as Brand Manager at Arbora & Ausonia (P&G’s Joint Venture in Spain). During that time she was responsible for managing several brands and business units.

At the end of 2008 she undertook a new endeavor as Category Manager at Grefusa, a Spanish snacks company. She has been Marketing Director since 2010. Her responsibilities include managing the different Business Units as well as Corporate Communication.

Petra is in her third year with the creative advertising agency WMC Grey, which is part of the Grey Group EMEA network. Petra currently holds the position of digital strategy planner. She is responsible for nearly all current clients and tenders with an online focal point. In the past year, she has worked on CzechTourism’s communication strategy on foreign markets, the non-traditional www.radio.jika.cz project, integrated and online-only campaigns and, especially, on interconnecting the online and offline environments.

Kathrin Jesse

Nina Juenemann

After studying communication sciences and psychology at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich, Nina started her advertising career at the Strategy department of Lintas in Hamburg in 1996. Clients included numerous brands of Johnson & Johnson and Unilever, thus giving her thorough practice and know-how on some of the worlds’ most renowned FMCG brands. Leaving Lintas, she joined Jung von Matt to become the planner on clients such as BMW, Deutsche Bahn, Deutsche Post, and Sixt. Creative planning and measuring campaign effectiveness were in focus of her work.

As a next step, Nina started to work freelance, working for a large number of small and big agencies as well as directly for clients in Telecomms, Automobile, Finance, and of course FMCG.

After getting to know GGH MullenLowe as a freelancer on several occasions over the last years, she joined the agency in 2017 to become Head of Strategic Planning, working on all major clients of the agency.

Magda Kolenkiewicz

In the industry since 2002 when she started her career as media assistant in Mindshare. In 2004 she joined Starcom. From the very beginning she developed her competencies in the team which provided services to Kraft Foods/ Mondelez where she moved up the carrier ladder from the position of a media planner to the account director responsible for high quality of day to day agency work, team management, negotiations and communication planning strategies. She also extended team’s agency portfolio through successful pitches into banking, retail and OTC sector ending up with the biggest team in the agency in terms of billings.

In January 2013 Magda was appointed to the position of Managing Director of Starcom – currently the biggest Agency in Publicis Media and on of the biggest on Polish market (currently no 2 on the market). She is responsible for managing eight clients teams (over 130 people) working for more 100 clients generating over 150 mio euro of billings, among which ca. 90% is delivered by clients won locally. She would love Starcom not only to be the biggest agency but the best agency and a real business partner for our Clients – strategically integrating all communications activities, providing innovativeness, disruptring status quo and constantly improving product and services.

Starcom’s campaign are the most often awarded in the industry competitions such as Effie Awards (2013 – 2015 – Agency of the Year according to Effie), got the highest rank in RECMA compitches ranking 2015 with grade A+.

Starcom in Poland was described as DOMINANT in RECMA ranking in Poland. They won also the title of Agency of the Year in IAB Mixx Awards 2016.

Susanne Lund

Susanne Lund started her professional journey by obtaining MSc degree in Financial and Strategic planning from Copenhagen Business School.

In all of his roles, he has held strategic planning and client handling positions.

Sakis has been responsible for the successful execution of advertising campaigns of large international and local companies, in both the public and private sectors. His portfolio includes beverage brands such as Heineken, Amstel, Gordons, Cutty Sark, car manufacturers such as AUDI and BMW, telecommunication providers, food, entertainment and electronics companies and Greece's international tourism advertising campaign. He is in the board of directors of the Hellenic Association of Advertising Agencies and a member of the Greek Association of Chief Executive Officers. He is currently the General Manager of Frank & Fame advertising agency in Greece.

In 2007, she began another adventure: she resumed her studies at the Sciences-Po School of Communication in Paris, where she obtained another Master’s. In 2009, she became a strategic planner at Duke/Razorfish, where she was in charge of the SNCF account. After moving to DDB in Paris, she joined DigitasLBi in 2011 to lead the digital strategy for Renault Global. She joined Publicis Conseil the following year to bring her digital strategy skills to the 360° team dedicated to this advertiser.

Back at DigitasLBi in 2016, she worked on the agency’s major accounts, such as Nissan, La Poste and Intermarché in particular. She took over strategic planning the following year. Marie is also a lecturer at Sciences-Po Paris, where she runs a course on Digital Pop Culture. She is the mother of two young children.

Vesna Zabkar, Ph.D., is a professor of marketing and a vice-dean at University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Economics (FELU), triple accredited business school. She holds a PhD in management and organization and was a visiting scholar in the marketing department of Northwestern University, Kellogg Graduate School of Management as well as visiting professor at University of Vienna (Chair of International marketing). Her professional career started as a trainee at Advico Young & Rubicam in Zurich. A couple of years years later she became Group Account Director and member of the Executive Board of Spillmann/Felser/Leo Burnett.

In 2012, she took over the responsibility to build up the agency spin-off Alpha 245 as Managing Director. Within three years, Alpha 245 became a wellknown and ambitious market player. Seeking for more entrepreneurial freedom, she took the opportunity and became Managing Partner at Serviceplan Suisse in the beginning of 2016.

Anu Igoni was born in 1968. She started her career in advertising and marketing in the beginning of the 90`s in the biggest agency of Finland at the time, Sek&Grey.

Since then, she has been working as an art director and senior creative in the major Finnish advertising agencies.

In 1992, she started up a new company Bob Helsinki, with her colleagues. Later on Bob Helsinki was merged into a digital agency Robot Helsinki, forming a new company called Bob the Robot. Anu is currently working there as a creative director and partner.

Bob the Robot is one of the leading and most awarded agencies in Finland, also holding a title of Agency of the year 2016. There are 58 people currently working at the agency. The clients include, among others, the telecom company Elisa and dairy company Valio. Bob the Robot believes in creativity as a major asset for companies to succeed and loves to work with companies with similar mind set.

As a part of the Central Marketing management team, Niko takes part in all key marketing projects through the entire Telekom Slovenije portfolio, from mobile to broadband services, B2C and B2B making room for C2C.

Niko joined Telekom Slovenije after the merger of Telekom Slovenije and Mobitel in 2011, taking on the management of Marketing Communications, where he was in charge of the marketing communications planning and implementation team, and of the digital marketing team. Prior to that, he served as the Head of Marketing Communications at Slovenia’s first mobile operator Mobitel, until 2007.

Telekom Slovenije has received numerous marketing communications awards, including Effie 2012 for Slovenia's most effective advertiser, a gold and two silver Effies. Katie Mackay

Katie has worked in advertising for 13 years.

Having cut her teeth on British Army Recruitment and Cadbury Crème Egg for four years at Publicis, Katie left to join Mother in 2008.

Nine years on, as Head of Strategy, Katie has been behind some of our most celebrated and effective campaigns. Currently running the IKEA, Diageo and innocent business out of our London office, Katie has also helped us feel good with Boots; fall-in love with Match.com; and enjoy a drink (responsibly) with Smirnoff and Beck’s. Under Mackay’s strategic guidance, IKEA has become one of the most awarded pieces of business in the UK, winning Campaign’s ‘Campaign of the Year’ in 2014 and ‘Advertiser of the Year’ in 2016 for “The Wonderful Everyday” as well as gold and silver Cannes Lions and a coveted APG Award, all of which contributed to her being named one of the top five Planners in the UK last year.

In her time at Mother, Katie has also focused upon planning for good. Having spearheaded Mother’s Feminism initiatives Project Bush and Make Them Pay in 2013, Katie has also worked with the UN to develop a global communications campaign to improve sanitation for 2.5 billion people.

Phil leads on the planning across all agencies delivering for Nissan in Europe. As head of planning, he has delivered over 30 campaigns for new launches or major changes in what has been one of Nissan’s busiest ever communication programmes. In addition, working with the Nissan Strategy and Brand teams he is heavily involved in Nissan’s future communication strategies across all models and initiatives.

Phil joined from FCB in 2013, where based out of Hamburg, he was part of the global management team specifically responsible for communications planning and engagement across Beiersdorf’s entire product portfolio. Everything from Nivea deodorant to Nivea For Men product repositioning.

Joachim graduated in Economics at ULB and holds a Master’s degree in Marketing & Communications from the Solvay Business School.

After starting his career at Bongrain Benelux in 1998 as a Junior Brand Manager, and after his third cycle at Solvay, he joined Danone Belgium in 2001 where he performed various marketing functions and contributed to innovating the brand.

In 2004, he became a Marketing Manager at Danone Hungary for the entire Yogurt portfolio. This experience allowed him to discover a new culture, reorganize the brand portfolio and the overall brand strategy.

In 2008, he returned to Belgium where he took up the position of a Marketing Director at Bel Belgique where he worked with great effort on positioning and developing the brand identity. He also ensured the relaunch of the Boursin brand after the acquisition of Unilever.

Since 2011, Joachim serves as a Vice President of Marketing and Store Concept at Delhaize. In addition to being responsible for marketing and customer strategy for all formats of Delhaize Belgium, leading the positioning, activation, CRM, sponsoring, and digital activity, he is also in charge of defining the store concept and shopping experience strategy. Nuno Salvaterra

Graduated in Graphic Design and Communication (IADE) in 2002 and started as a graphic designer in 1998, at the FazLetra Agency, where he worked with clients like Volkswagen, Mercedes and Siemens. In 2001 he joined MrNet-Design&Technology (currently FULL IT) as Creative Supervisor working with clients like FNAC, TAP (Portugal’s national airline), RTP and SIC (), and it was in 2005 that he went off on his own and opened his own agency.

Lars Samuelsen

Established the first communications planning department in the Nordics at MEC. In the following four years he grow the department to 10 people effectively becoming the largest communications planning entity in the Nordics.

In 2009 he was asked to join UncleGrey as Managing Director. In this role he helped the agency win several Cannes Lions, Eurobest gold and other prestigious awards. In 2010 UncleGrey was selected Creative Agency of the Year in Denmark.

In 2011 the agency was merged with Grey Copenhagen and he took on the role as Chief Strategic Officer as well as Head of Digital. Alice Schaffer

With over twenty years planning experience, Alice has worked across a wide variety of sectors including FMCG, OTC, retail, alcohol, financial services, travel and government.

Currently heading up the planning for Johnson & Johnson at J Walter Thompson London, Alice began her career at the other home of planning, BMP DDB, where she spent five years learning the strategy ropes on brands as diverse as Lego, Strepsils and the Central Office of Information.

Nuria Serrano

Nuria is currently Head of Planning at VCCP Madrid and Chair of the Account Planning Association (APG) Spanish Board. She is a hard-core planner who has worked in the past for global agencies such as Publicis, JWT and BBDO. Her experience ranges across a wide span of brands and industries throughout Europe for brands such as Suzuki, Liberty Insurance, Cadbury's, Freixenet and Pfizer. She also worked for several years as a Hispanic Market planner in sunny Los Angeles.

As Chair of the APG Spain she aims to increase the value of planning at a time when it is absolutely relevant to provide creative and effective strategies. It is a new and changing world out there and these are exciting times to be a planner and offer new, different points of view.

Nuria studied Psychology and has a PhD in Communications. She is currently involved in academic research in the field of Cognitive Neuroscience applied to advertising, being a regular lecturer at the University of Barcelona Blanquerna-Ramon Llull and University Pompeu Fabra, having presented her work at congresses like ESOMAR.

In the past 5 years, she has judged at the main creative and effectiveness awards in Spain (Premios a la Eficacia, Festival El Sol, Club de Creativos, IAB).

Naomi Troni
Global Chief Growth Officer at MullenLowe Group - United Kingdom

 

Naomi joined MullenLowe Group in 2014 as Global Chief Growth Officer responsible for global marketing, communications and business development.

In 2016, she led the global rebranding of the MullenLowe Group network following the merger of Mullen with Lowe and Partners. The merger rebranding was awarded a Cannes Lion in 2016 and led to the network being named to the AdAge 2017 Agency Standout Awards List.
