Rules
The EACA Euro Effies are open to all agencies (whether members of EACA or not) for campaigns which ran in two or more European markets in 2007. A campaign may have started before 2007 and needs to have supporting data from the beginning of the campaign.
To be considered for a Euro Effie, campaigns must prove beyond reasonable doubt that the choice and use of commercial communications were key to the campaign's success. Judging procedure is based primarily on ensuring that the evidence of results is matched to, and proves the achievement of, the business goals.
Any campaigns can be submitted and all disciplines are welcome.
Advertisers may enter more than one campaign but a campaign may only be entered once.
The competition is open to all countries, but campaigns entered must have run in two or more European countries, or in pan-European media and between 1 January and 31 December 2007.
The length of the submission is limited by the entry form format. This includes charts, statistics, tables and illustrations of the advertising campaign itself.
Evidence of Results data must be referenced and entries can be disqualified if the data source is not cited.
The entry will only be confirmed when all parts have been fully completed and received and once all other entries have been processed.
The information on the entry form must be 100% accurate as it cannot be changed once submitted.
The entry must have received client approval.
Each entry should be submitted in English although the creative work may be in any European language. Campaigns not in the English language must be accompanied by a complete translation and all radio and television commercials must be translated into English to make judging possible.

Late entries may be considered and need to be requested in writing by 8th April 2008 by emailing: effie@eaca.be. The Late Entry Fee will be automatically added to your online invoice if you submit your entry after 15H00 on Tuesday 8th April 2008. A maximum extension period of 12 working days from this date will be granted. A late entry fee of €195 (including charges and VAT where applicable) will be charged per campaign.
If no or part payment has been received by Tuesday 8th April 2008, your entry will be disqualified. The registration fee is non-recoverable.
Information in the entry form will remain confidential until the end of both judging rounds. However, all winning entries must make available all entry information including evidence of results for publication in the Euro Effies Book and www.warc.com. Creative material, when submitted, becomes the property of EACA. EACA reserves the right to make copies of selected creative material for educational and publicity purposes.
Each winning entry receives a Euro Effie trophy as part of the entry fee. Additional trophies, certificates, books and DVDs may be purchased from EACA. Please click here for extra orders.
